CCTV & DVR Hard Drive’s
If you are interested in CCTV or are looking for more information on a CCTV System for your house, the chances are that you will have come across the term “DVR”, or “DVR Hard Drive”.
Simply put, DVR’s are “Digital Video Recorders”, which use a hard drive instead of tape to record your CCTV footage.
DVR is able to pause a live-feed by continuing to record what is going on in the background and cutting to a stored version of your recording – this is similar to how home-television set up’s work with their “Pause Live TV” service.
